Debbie Grammer is the deputy director of the NC AHEC practice support program. She has worked at the intersection of primary care and population health for more than 20 years in North Carolina. After a stint working internationally, Debbie earned her Master of Public Health in Health Behavior at UNC Chapel Hill. Her experience includes improving access to medications, increasing access to health care in rural areas, and expanding access to health care for urban underserved communities. She currently enjoys supporting more than 25 practice coaches across the state who coach practices to succeed under new payment models and to deliver the best care possible for their patients.
