Pharmacy: These two PharmD’s will spend the new year in a program that opens doors to more advanced positions, according to Susan Miller, director of pharmacotherapy and the PGY 1 Pharmacy Residency.

“Doing a pharmacy residency opens doors to more advanced pharmacy practice positions, such as clinical pharmacist positions in hospitals and physician clinics,” she said of the one-year program. “The advanced training of a resident gives residents experience in research, leadership, and teaching which positions them well to take faculty positions at schools of pharmacy.”
