The October webinar, entitled Navigating Ahead:  Employment Contracts, is open to all physicians, but could be especially beneficial to residents as you contemplate your first job.  Even as we grapple with COVID, other aspects of professional practice and life continue.  Residents graduate and go into practice.  Physicians established in one practice want to mot to be closer to family or join another practice.  So, what are the key elements to look for in an employment contract.  What provisions matter most for work/family balance?  What does a “non-compete” actually mean?  Learn more and get key questions answered.

Speakers will include:

  • Shawn Parker, JD, an attorney with Smith Anderson in Raleigh, who has consulted with NCAFP on a number of projects; and
  • John Rusher, MD, JD, a Raleigh pediatrician.
