CCTO User Training

Live trainings for CCTO Users are offered with topics including updates and enhancements to the CCTO Tool and common Help Desk issues. A live Q&A is held at the end of each session to give attendees an opportunity to ask questions and request demonstrations of certain CCTO features. The trainings will continue until they are no longer needed.

CCTO User Micro-trainings

To support further CCTO user education, short videos and reference materials have been developed to cover specific topics and “How Tos” regarding the CCTO tool. These CCTO Micro-trainings are under 10 minutes each, and cover best practices to complete common tasks in the CCTO tool and address frequently asked questions. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) and NC AHEC are hosting a webinar offering guidance to dental professionals.

The January 6 webinar is titled Webinar on COVID-19 Vaccine and Distribution Plan. North Carolina has begun rolling out COVID-19 vaccines and many dental providers have questions about the distribution plan. This presentation is especially designed for dental providers and will offer information on vaccine prioritization, logistics for accessing the vaccine, updates on authorized vaccines, and will offer a clinical review of Bell’s Palsy and a brief Medicaid Policy Update for Medicaid enrolled dental providers. This webinar will conclude with a questions and answers session and will feature Dr. Sarah Tomlinson, State Dental Director, Dr. Jessica Scott, Oral Health Coordinator with the Division of Public Health, Oral Health Section, and Darlene Baker, RDH, Lead Dental Policy Analyst with the Division of Health Benefits.
